Winners Announced at IRON Man 70.3 Turkey

Ironman 70.3 Turkey races held in Belek and consisting of swimming, cycling and running stages have ended.

In the races, which started with the morning swimming stage from Kadriye Beach Park in Belek Tourism Center, 2,300 athletes from 88 countries competed in the 1.9-kilometre swimming stage, then the 90-kilometre cycling and 21-kilometre running stages. The start of the race was given by Ahmet Ali Temurci, General Manager of International Organizations and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Yavuz Gürhan, Antalya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports. Ironman 70.3 Turkey races ended with the running stage in The Land of Legends.

Ukraine is the winner for the men, and Russia for the women.

In the men's races, Julian Demianov from Ukraine came in first with a time of 3 hours 52 minutes 17 seconds, while Inna Tutukina from Russia took first place in the women's race with 4 hours 14 minutes and 8 seconds. The awards were given to the winners by Ironman Turkey Director Özgür Emekçioğlu. The 'Ironman 70.3 Turkey' races held in Antalya Belek this year won the title of the 2nd race with the most significant participation in Europe.
